Experience art transformed into experience as musician Suzanne Turner performs ambient soundscapes at the Art Gallery at Royal Park. Three musicians. Three Saturdays. Three hours of live sound in a world of sculpted stillness.

Join us at the Art Gallery at Royal Park for Three Spotlights, a new live performance program staged within the exhibition Sam Jinks || Mortal Reflections.

Across three Saturdays over three months, three acclaimed musicians will respond to Jinks’ hyperreal sculptures in an evolving, multisensory experience of art and sound.

The third in the series features Suzanne Turner on Saturday 11 October, offering lyrical, improvisation-infused violin that moves with sensitivity and grace. Her intuitive phrasing and delicate textures echo the emotional intimacy of Jinks’ sculptural forms, creating a quiet, resonant dialogue between sound, space, and the human condition.

As you move through the space, the live music becomes a living soundtrack — heightening your connection to the works and inviting quiet reflection. You're welcome to sit, stand, draw, write, or simply be. Paper and graphite pencils will be available to encourage your own creative response.

This is a FREE drop-in event at the Art Gallery at Royal Park, with no registration required. Whether you stay for ten minutes or three hours, this is a rare opportunity to experience visual art in dialogue with live music, where the gallery becomes a space for contemplation, emotion and inspiration.
